Overview

Professional network infrastructure for Dallas businesses.

Whether you're expanding an office floor, upgrading aging copper, or building out a new facility, Z-Tech delivers the high-performance cabling your network depends on. We work across the full range of Dallas commercial property — downtown high-rise towers with multi-floor riser requirements, converted warehouse space in Deep Ellum, and single-story flex buildings in the north of the city.

Our goal is straightforward: give Dallas businesses a fast, reliable, scalable network foundation that supports cloud applications, VoIP, and heavy data transfer without downtime. Every run we install is tested, labeled, and handed over with documentation — so the next contractor who opens your IDF knows exactly what they're looking at.

Structured cabling

Built for performance, efficiency, and long-term scalability.

End-to-end structured cabling designed around how your building actually gets used — not a one-size template.

Cat6 & Cat6A data cabling

New installations and copper upgrades, pulled to spec and certified to the full channel length.

Cable management & rack organization

MDF and IDF build-outs, patch panels, vertical and horizontal managers, and racks that stay serviceable.

Network wiring design & engineering

Drop counts, pathway routing, and closet placement planned before a single cable is pulled.

Voice & data cabling integration

VoIP handset drops, PoE provisioning, and combined voice/data pathways on a single structured system.

Testing, labeling & certification

Fluke DSX certification on every run, TIA-606 labeling, and the full result set delivered at close.

Moves, adds & changes

Reconfiguring a floor or absorbing a new team — we extend the existing system rather than bolting on.

Our technicians follow ANSI/TIA/EIA and BICSI standards so your cabling performs at peak efficiency today and as the business grows.

Fiber optic

Dallas fiber-optic cable installation.

Modern businesses need bandwidth that keeps up with data demand. We install fiber for offices, data centers, and commercial facilities across the city.

Single-mode & multimode fiber installationSpecified to the distance and bandwidth the run actually needs.

FAQ

Common questions from Dallas businesses.

How much does structured cabling cost in Dallas?
Cost depends on drop count, cable category, pathway difficulty, and building type. A high-rise office floor with existing conduit prices very differently from an open warehouse needing new pathway. We walk the site, count the drops, and return a fixed-price proposal — so there are no change orders mid-project.
Do you work in occupied Dallas office buildings?
Yes — most of our Dallas work is in occupied space. We coordinate with building management on certificates of insurance, freight elevator scheduling, and after-hours access, and we schedule noisy or disruptive work outside business hours.
What's the difference between Cat6 and Cat6A?
Both support 10 Gigabit Ethernet, but Cat6A sustains it to the full 100-meter channel while Cat6 is limited to roughly 55 meters and is more susceptible to alien crosstalk. For new installations we usually recommend Cat6A — particularly for Wi-Fi 6E and 7 access points, and for anything you expect to keep for ten years.
Do you provide test results and documentation?
Yes. Every run is tested with a Fluke DSX certification tester, labeled to TIA-606 standards, and delivered with as-built documentation and the full test result set at project close.
Can you install cabling in a new Dallas construction build-out?
Yes. We work directly with general contractors and electricians during rough-in to place sleeves, J-hooks, and pathway before walls close, then return for trim-out and certification. Getting us in at rough-in is significantly cheaper than retrofitting after.
